Shipfitter – LOCATED ON SITE IN Charleston, SC - This is a traveling position to Charleston, SC Per Diem Offered Pay: $45/hr Per Diem: $140/day (for qualified travelers) Schedule: Full‑time, long‑term opportunity NEED SHIPFITTING EXPERIENCE
We are seeking experienced Shipfitters for a major shipbuilding and repair project in the Charleston, SC area. This is a high‑level skilled trade position requiring strong structural fitting experience within shipyard environments.
Position Overview
The Shipfitter will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing structural components on naval and commercial vessels. This role requires precision, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and experience working in fast‑paced shipyard environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Goose Creek, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $55.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
