Electromechanical Assembler (Medical Motion Control)

We are looking for detail-oriented, hands-on Electromechanical Assemblers to build high-precision motion control components used in state-of-the-art medical devices. What You’ll Do

• Build Precision Assemblies: Assemble delicate electrical, mechanical, and optical sub-assemblies (motors, encoders, lead screws, custom wiring harnesses) using small hand tools, soldering irons, and precision measuring devices.
• Follow Schematics & Work Instructions: Read technical drawings, blueprints, and step-by-step assembly guides to ensure every product meets strict medical standards.
• Inspect & Test: Perform basic electrical continuity testing, mechanical fit checks, and quality inspections using microscopes or magnifying tools.
• Maintain Quality Standards: Keep meticulous documentation of lot numbers and build steps to comply with medical device regulatory requirements.

Who You Are

• The Handyman or Hobbyist: You have fantastic manual dexterity and love working with your hands—whether from professional assembly experience or personal hobbies (3D printing, model building, electronics repair, automotive tinkering, or craft crafting).
• Detail-Obsessed: You take pride in clean wiring runs, tight tolerances, and neat work.
• Teachable & Curious: You know how to use basic hand tools (tweezers, wire strippers, torque screwdrivers) and are eager to learn specialized medical assembly techniques.
• Reliable & Focused: You thrive in an environment where patience, focus, and precision are rewarded.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years of electromechanical assembly experience OR a strong portfolio/demonstrated history of detailed hands-on hobby work.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read simple assembly drawings/diagrams; basic soldering skills are a plus (we are happy to train!).
• Physical Comfort: Good hand-eye coordination and comfortable working under magnification or microscopes for extended periods.
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training.
